Capadev is proud to announce the publication of “A successful model for KSA-based payor-provider collaborative in maternity care” in the Journal of Patient-Reported Outcomes. Co-authored by Capadev alongside Bupa Arabia’s Value Based Care & Health Center team, the study details a multicenter Value-Based Healthcare pilot rolled out across four tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia between July 2024 and July 2025.
Using the ICHOM Pregnancy and Childbirth Standard Set, the initiative digitally collected PROMs and CROMs from 802 women at five points along their maternity journey. The results demonstrate that standardized outcomes measurement is both feasible and operationally effective at scale, with roughly a third of women showing clinically meaningful improvements in mental health, continence, breastfeeding confidence, and bonding.
Two participating providers achieved ICHOM Level 1 accreditation. The paper establishes a replicable, payer–provider-driven model for embedding VBHC into routine maternity care across the region.
